Argentina

Argentina is the second largest county in South America. It borders Paraguay and Bolivia to the north, Brazil and Uruguay to the northeast, and Chile to the west and south. We were here, mainly, in the Patagonia region and in Buenos Aires. Our trip took place in Februari 2010.
Australia

Australia, officially the Commonwealth of Australia, is a country in the southern hemisphere comprising the mainland of the world's smallest continent, the major island of Tasmania, and numerous other islands in the Indian and Pacific Oceans. We were there in the months October and November 2002.
Chile

Chile is a South-American country between Pacific Ocean and the Andes mountains. with a length of about 4300 km and 175 km wide. It borders Peru in the north and Bolivia in the northeast and Argentina to the east, and the Drake Passage in the south. We were here in the Patagonia region in Februari 2010.
China

Our trip, for five weeks, to China took place in September1989. We were the first tourists who did visit this enourmous country after the troubles at the Tian Amen Square in June that year.
Ecuador

Ecuador is known for its heratic of Indian culture. Also are the Galapago Islands world famous after Darwin that wrote his "On The Origin of Species". We travelled around here in 2001.
Finland

Finland is a Nordic country situated in the Fennoscandian region of northern Europe. It borders Sweden on the west, Russia on the east, and Norway on the north, while Estonia lies to its south across the Gulf of Finland. The capital city is Helsinki. In 2000 we travelled around in Finland as part of a roundtrip through Scandinavia.
Iceland

A geologically young land, Iceland is located on both the Iceland hotspot and the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, which runs right through it. This combined location means that geologically the island is extremely active. We spent our midsummer hollidays here in 2008.
India

India is the second dense populate county in the world. It is ethnic very divers. The landscapes varied from the highest mountains to low-lying river deltas. We travelled from New Delhi via Varanasi, Khajurao to Rajastan in the year 1990.
Indonesia

Indonesia is the countie with the largest population of the Islamic world. We made four trips, between 1982 and 1994, to the archipelago that as a belt of emeralds round the equator winds.
Ireland

The first settlements in Ireland date from 8000 BC. By 200 BC Celtic migration and influence had come to dominate the island. Relatively small scale settlements of both the Vikings and Normans in the Middle Ages gave way to complete English domination by the 1600s and ending in the 1900s. In 1998 we travelled in Ireland from the south aswell the north part.

Luxembourg

The Grand Duchy of Luxembourg is one of the smallest countries of the European Union. A place where a lot of peoples from surrounding countries come to have their hollidays. Very popular is the Petite Suisse area. In 2005, 2006 and 2007 we spent a week in this nice country.
Malaysia

Malaysia is a federation that consists of thirteen states and three federal territories in Southeast Asia with a total landmass of 329,847 square kilometres. The capital city is Kuala Lumpur, while Putrajaya is the seat of the federal government. The population stands at over 27 million. The country is separated into two regions — Peninsular Malaysia and Malaysian Borneo — by the South China Sea. Our journey, in 1996, started in Malaka and ended in southern Serawak.
Namibia

Namibia, officially the Republic of Namibia, is a country in Southern Africa whose western border is the Atlantic Ocean. It shares borders with Angola and Zambia to the north, Botswana and Zimbabwe to the east, and South Africa to the south and east. The year 1999 was the time we travelled through this county.

Netherlands

The Netherlands are located in North West Europe at the Rhine Delta. After declaring of independence from Spain the Republic of the United Provinces were formed and became a world power in the 17e century. After the French occupation the Netherlands were united with Belgium and became a kingdom. In 1830 Belgium seceded and the Netherlands more or less inside the present borders was formed. In our home country ofcourse we spent the most of the time of our live.
New Zealand

The first European name for New Zealand was Statenlandt, the name given to it by the Dutch explorer Abel Tasman, who in 1642 became the first European to see the islands. The name New Zealand originated with Dutch cartographers, who called the islands Nova Zeelandia, after the Dutch province of Zeeland. Februari 2009 travelled we from the north of the Northern Island to the south of the Southern Island.
Norway

The Kingdom of Norway, or simply Norway is a country in Northern Europe occupying the western portion of the Scandinavian Peninsula, as well as Jan Mayen and the Arctic archipelago of Svalbard under the Spitsbergen Treaty. In 2000 we travelled in Norway as part of a Scandinavia trip.
Scotland

Occupying the northern third of the island of Great Britain, it shares a border with England to the south and is bounded by the North Sea to the east, the Atlantic Ocean to the north and west, and the North Channel and Irish Sea to the southwest. In addition to the mainland, Scotland consists of over 790 islands including the Northern Isles and the Hebrides. 2002 was the year of this hollidays.
South-Africa

English is the most commonly spoken language in official and commercial public life; however, it is only the fifth most-spoken home language. In this fantastic country had we in 1997 our hollidays.
Spain

The country had colonies all over the world from the east of the Philippines to the extreme west of Mexico and from the North of the Netherlands to the south of South America. Our first time in Spain was in 1968, the last time was in 2003.
Thailand

Thailand is a constitutional monarchy with King Bhumibol Adulyadej, the ninth king of the House of Chakri, as the ruling monarch. The King has reigned for more than half a century, making him the longest reigning Thai monarch and the longest reigning current monarch in the world. Thailand is one of the most devoutly Buddhist countries in the world. Autum 1993 was the time we spent some weeks in this country.
Turkey

United States of America
